Really, I don't take the trouble to contact people and ask them. If I have asked a question, I am expecting an answer. In some cases I require one to be able to move forward with plans. If I asked you a question on Friday you cannot possibly be so busy that you are unable to reply by the following Wednsday.
What is so difficult to understand about that?

So ask again. And then again, and again if necessary. If they are not answering then you can keep asking. They have probably back-burnered it and may not even remember now.

I think alien abduction is the reason. I mean obviously the person you're calling has been spirited away across the universe and is unable to access their voice mail. : )
